Here we’ve gathered some of the most frequently asked questions we’re receiving about the upcoming 2020 Walk and Drive for Life.
The 2020 Walk and Drive for Life is a fun and family-friendly event to celebrate the value of life in our community. This 22nd annual event is a special day where people from all backgrounds come together for a cause close to God's heart.
All proceeds from the Walk and Drive for Life will support the mission of Corona Life Services and help provide free services for women and families facing an unplanned pregnancy.
Yes, everyone attending the event needs to register this year. Every car or walker participating, even if you are not raising funds, must complete and turn in a liability waiver.
The registration fee starts at $19 and includes exclusive Walk and Drive for Live gear.
It takes literally less than a minute (per person) to sign up:
A drive or virtual walk is quite simple. You sign up (including free gear!*) then you either drive, walk or run — whatever you choose! — on October 3, 2020.
The fun starts here. Share your heart for life and chances are your fundraiser will be a huge success. Whatever your story and passion, the goal is to have fun and fundraise for Corona Life Services.
Just click on the "Start a Fundraiser" or join an existing fundraising Team, and you can create and personalize your own fundraising page and share that link with your friends and family through email and social media.
The Drive-In Event is in Corona and opens at 9:00. on October 3. Many fun activities for kids are available too.
Not a driver? Get your gear and cheer on drivers as they complete the Drive for Life. After the drive there will be awards and prizes for the teams raising the most funds to save lives.
No, you do not have to join a team. After the registration you can choose to join a team, which are participating in the 2020 Walk and Drive for live.
Absolutely not! Almost everything has gone virtual this year, so we’re all used to using social media to come together. You can have friends or family join you or simply do your running/walking by yourself and share your experience with everyone through social media.
Or gather other individuals and create your own social-distance team. (When registering, each person can register individually, or one person can register multiple individuals with a single check out, i.e., single payment).
Whichever you choose, be sure to take photos of your training sessions, getting ready for your race, walking/running your race, and any post-race activities you may be doing! Share your photos with us on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook — or all three — by using the hashtag #coronadriveforlife:
And remember: you’re not alone, because we’re all doing this together!
